Fyrebox – Quizzes To Generate Leads And Engage Your Audience

Plenty of marketers invest a ton of energy and resources into generating more traffic for their websites… but that’s only part of the picture.

Look at it this way: it’s pointless to drive 100,000 visitors to your website, only to have 90% of these visitors churn and leave your site within a second.

As a marketer (or a business owner!), you don’t just want people to land on your website, you also want them to actively engage with your site.

Struggling to get your engagement up? Don’t sweat it – Sendlane now integrates with Fyrebox, which is a tool that you can use to create an interactive quiz for your site.

Read on to find out more!

What is Fyrebox?

You know how everyone and their grandma loves doing those If you were a pizza, what pizza would you be type quizzes on Buzzfeed?

With Fyrebox, you can quickly and easily build a similar quiz to use on your website, and use it to generate more engagement for your business.

How does it work?

To get started, input the instructions you’d like to display to your participants, as well as the questions and answers of your quiz.

Next, select what language you want your quiz to work in. (English aside, you have 11 other options to choose from!)

Once that’s done, use the drag and drop interface to change the look and feel of your quiz. You can move individual components around, increase or decrease the size of the font, and even change the color of each button and its label.

When you’re happy with your quiz, it’s time to publish it! If you’re on WordPress, Shopify, Wix or Joomla, you can install a plugin to help you get your quiz up and running. If you’re on another platform, simply copy and paste a snippet of code to do the same.

Quick aside: For those who don’t want to get their hands dirty, Fyrebox also comes with plug-and-play themes and templates.

If customization isn’t important to you, just select a theme and template, input your Q&As, and you’re all set!

Using Quizzes to Generate More Leads

If you’re trying to generate more leads for your business, quizzes are an excellent option.

Say you run a marketing agency, and you’re looking to reach out to SMBs who might want to enlist your SEO services.

Here are a couple of quizzes you could create:

  • Should you work on SEO internally, or outsource your SEO?
  • How well-optimized is your website for SEO?
  • How far do you have to go in your SEO optimization efforts?
  • What is your SEO proficiency level?

We could go on, but you get the picture.

Using Fyrebox, you can collect the email, name, address of the players and their answers – so that you can move them into your sales funnel, and nurture them as leads.

Don’t worry – you don’t need to sit down at your desk and manually add each player into your CRM or database; Fyrebox allows you to export your data automatically.

More specifically:

Once you integrate Fyrebox with Sendlane, the leads you generate are synced to Sendlane without any further action on your part.

Yep, this is one of those set-it-and-forget-it type deals.

Pretty awesome, huh?

On top of that, you can also feature a Call To Action on the last screen of your quiz. You’ve got plenty of options here, including:

  • Ask players to Like your Facebook page or follow you on social media
  • Link players to additional content (ebooks, white papers) etc that they can download
  • Link players to landing pages where they can sign up for webinars, product demos, etc

The sky’s the limit!

Pro-Tips to Help You Build The Best Quiz

Want to build a quiz to end all quizzes? Then check out our following pro-tips:

First, request for your player’s email only at the end of the quiz.

When building quizzes, keep this in mind: you’ve got to make your player want to give you their email address.

How do you do that?

Well, simple – by timing your ask perfectly.

Think about it this way: if you ask for your player’s email address upfront, they’ll probably be pretty hesitant to give it to you.

First things first – they’ve not actually started your quiz, so they’re not all that invested in it.

Plus, with all the scary data breaches that took place in 2018, your player might have their guard up when they get any prompts for their personal information.

When you ask for your player’s contact details after they’ve completed the quiz, though, it’s a different story.

Now, they’ve already taken the time to go through the entire quiz and fill in their answers… and this is the last step that’s standing between them and their results.

Assuming your quiz is sufficiently compelling, chances are your player will just dismiss their lingering concerns (if any!), and go ahead and give you their email address.

Score! That’s another lead that you’ve generated.

Next tip: maximize the effectiveness of your quiz by repurposing it as a Facebook Messenger chatbot.

When you create a quiz with Fyrebox, you have an option to make this available as a Facebook Messenger chatbot as well.

This makes it easy for you to reach out to more potential customers (and generate more leads!) on Facebook. Pretty cool, huh?

Now, if your goal is to move your lead down the funnel, you might want to consider setting up a product or service recommendation quiz.

With this quiz, you’re essentially asking a series of qualifying questions to learn more about your customer’s wants and needs. At the end of the quiz, your bot uses the information you’ve gathered to recommend your lead a specific product or service.

Now, plenty of eCommerce stores and retail brands already use this strategy to great success…

And there’s no reason why B2B businesses can’t use the same strategy as well!

Finally, aside from using your quizzes as a lead generation tool, you can also use them to survey your customers (and generate insights about customer satisfaction levels).

For instance, say you sell web hosting services, and you want to learn more about how you can streamline your customers’ purchasing process.

To do this, simply redirect all customers who have just completed a purchase to your quiz. This quiz should contain questions about how intuitive and user-friendly the buying process was.

Ready to analyze your results?

The statistics of all your Fyrebox quizzes are displayed in pie charts in real time – so this makes it easy for you to identify patterns and key takeaways.

Nail Your Engagement Efforts With Fyrebox

Here’s the worst thing you can do as a marketer or business owner:

Shoving your marketing messages down your consumers’ throat, without attempting to engage them in any way.

Think about it – at its essence, marketing is all about building relationships…

And it’s pretty much impossible to accomplish that if you’re simply trying to have a one-way conversation.

So, stop trying to tell your consumer what they should want / think / feel.

Instead, sign up for Fyrebox and create a quiz (or five!) so that you can get your consumers’ inputs, and hear it from the horse’s mouth.
