Keep it short & Sweet
When it comes to length, shorter is usually better. You don’t want to create a kick-ass subject line only to have it get cut off so it makes no sense to mobile readers.
40-65 character subject lines seem to be a sweet spot. This is characters, though – not words!

Embrace Power Words
Go for impact! The use of power words will grab the attention of any email recipient, so make sure you infuse your subject lines with eye-catching language for best results.

Be sure to avoid passive statements (like ‘was’ and ‘will be’) and instead opt for more exciting active statements like ‘do,’ ‘try,’ and ‘take.’

Watch out for SPAM
Now, this should go without saying, but it’s SO important that we just can’t skip over it: make sure you avoid using language that could result in your messages being flagged as SPAM.

Yes, one word for effect is fine now and then, but keep it to a minimum so your message doesn’t get filtered directly into junk, never to be seen again.
