Create a Segment to Re-Engage Inactive Contacts

You need to have a plan in place to re-engage your inactive contacts.

Which is exactly why we covered how to automatically track & tag inactive contacts with our last tip!

But if you just started adding “inactive” tags to your automations, you still need to re-engage any contacts who aren’t already in a workflow…

So here’s a quick way to segment your list and do just that!

First, jump over to your Lists menu & select Global Segments:

Next, click Add Segment and go ahead and enter the parameters for your inactive contacts!

Pro Tip: We recommend setting the timeframe to no more than 1 month but you can do whatever makes the most sense based on your strategy.

Once you have your global segment set up, you can send targeted campaigns to those contacts, grabbing their attention and turning them back into hot leads!

Remember: the sooner you re-engage inactive contacts, the better, so don’t delay… login to your Sendlane account to segment the inactives on your list right away!
